Baptist Health PACE has a therapy team, on-site at the Adult Day Health Center, consisting of two occupational therapists and two physical therapists. Both groups work diligently with participants towards the goal of becoming more independent in daily activities and maintaining that independence. OT (Occupational Therapy) goals of care include having a participant be able to take care of themselves, maintain their own personal care and all while doing so safely and independently. PT (Physical Therapy) goals of care include helping participants get stronger and safer in mobility skills, improving muscle weakness and preventing falls. Both teams work with participants at our Adult Day Health Center and have a passion to see our participants succeed.
